About the role
<p>As a Backend Engineer at GAPSTARS, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable server-side applications, integrating with third-party APIs, and optimizing database schemas.</p>
What you’ll do
- Design, build, and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Optimize database queries and ensure system scalability.
- Collaborate with frontend teams for seamless API integrations.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years of experience with Node.js and Express/Fastify.
- Solid understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
- Experience with TypeScript.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
